Researchers Demonstrate Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computing at Scale

Quantum computing laboratory

Researchers have reached a major milestone by achieving fault-tolerant quantum computing with over 99.9% fidelity.

"This is the threshold we've been aiming for," said Dr. Kevin Zhou. "It brings practical quantum computing significantly closer."

Error correction has long been the biggest barrier in quantum systems.

"Error correction at this scale changes the entire landscape," added Dr. Alicia Grant.

This breakthrough could unlock advancements in cryptography, AI, and complex simulations.
